When walking around in Gamla stan, it is worth having a look at some doors for sure, and also on what is above the doors. As it is the case at Österlånggatan 47, where you will for sure pass by. The sculpture there shows a sitting man holding up the coat of arms of the General Customs Agency. He symbolizes the customs of the country ashore. To the right is a mermaid with waves in the background that symbolizes the activities of the customs along the swedish coasts.
